Cosmic Wonder Dust
I have absolutely adored this colorway since I first saw it months ago. I bought a skein of it in a fingering weight, and I have been preciously hoarding it, waiting for the perfect pattern. I knew it was definitely the color I wanted for my VDay hat, so I found this perfect dk weight.
The hat itself went through a few revisions. I knew I wanted it to be long, have a ton of the heart cables and braids, but I couldn't settle on a texture that looked right with the yarn. Finally, while planning out the Trilobite hat I'm going to make for my coworker, Jessica, I realized that I wanted to use it for this! The result is super cool, and best of all, feels very me. I feel like it really captures the joy I feel on a daily basis with my job, family and friends. Also, it is a fun nod to the trilobite fossil that's on the resume I submitted to work at the museum. Also they're just awesome.
